Orders and confirmations should be received at least 2-4 weeks in advance. This allows me to source ingredients and properly prepare your commission. I can only take up to 3 orders per available day, so weekend dates tend to book quickly — the earlier you inquire, the better!
Orders placed less than 5 days’ notice may be subject to a $25 rush fee, depending on availability.
-
Fill out the order form and allow 1-3 days to confirm your order. Send a DM via Instagram or an email to ditsy.baking@gmail.com so we can kick off the conversation there.
Once confirmed, please send a 50% Security Deposit within 24 hours to lock in your spot.

Each cake is custom-made and designed entirely by hand. I manage all aspects of the process from my home kitchen — from sourcing ingredients to designing and decorating.
You’re not just purchasing dessert — you’re investing in edible art. Most cakes take 5-10 hours to complete, depending on the size and complexity of the design.

Pickup is in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Once the deposit is made, the pickup address will be shared with you.

Not at this time. Smaller cakes may be sent via Uber courier, though please note that once a cake leaves my possession, I’m not responsible for any mishandling.
-
I will give you a window to pick up the cake and will message you the morning of to confirm that your cake is ready. Please try to stick to your scheduled pickup time, but I understand if things change. Please let me know if you’re delayed as soon as possible.
If using an Uber courier, please note that arrival times often run longer than estimated.

Not at this time, but hopefully soon!

No, all flowers used are non-edible and purely for decoration. They are safe to be in contact with the cake, but must be carefully removed before eating.
-
If you won’t be serving your cake within 3 hours of pickup, store it in the refrigerator. Remove it 1–2 hours before serving to bring it to room temperature. Please consider the temperature during warmer months, as hot temperatures can make the cake less stable.
Cakes are best enjoyed within 24–36 hours for peak freshness. If you plan to serve it later, please let me know — designs using fresh flowers don’t hold up as well with extended refrigeration.
-
Wrap leftover slices tightly in plastic wrap and store in an airtight container.
Refrigerate for up to 1 week, or
Freeze for up to 2 months.
To thaw:
Place in the fridge overnight, or
Leave on the counter for 3–4 hours, or
Use the microwave’s defrost setting in 20-second increments.
-
Place your cake on a flat surface — never in your lap or on a car seat. Drive slowly and avoid bumps. Bring a friend to keep an eye on the cake.
During warmer months, keep the AC on high to maintain the buttercream’s structure. For travel times over 1 hour, consider using ice packs or arranging for longer refrigeration before pickup.
